Course Terms

These terms apply when you buy Unlock The Unspoken Effect. You see them before you pay, and you can come back to them any time. They are written in plain English.

1. Who is selling this

The Joy Project LLC, a Delaware company (“we”, “us”), sells Unlock The Unspoken Effect, an online course by Amanda Gore. The course is delivered through FreshLearn, which also handles your course login. We are the seller, so we are responsible for your order, your support and any refund.

2. What you get

34 video lessons in two parts (Part One: What you’re broadcasting, and Part Two: What they’re receiving), a workbook, and 34 one-page field guides. You work through the lessons in order, at your own pace. The course is built around eight weeks, which is the suggested pace, and you can go faster or slower. The course page at the time you buy describes what is included. Live sessions and personal coaching are not included in the course price.

3. Price and payment

The price is $497 USD, paid once. It is not a subscription and nothing renews. The price at checkout is the full price, and any tax or other charge is shown before you pay. Your payment is handled by the payment provider shown at checkout.

4. Access, downloads and what you need

Your access starts when your purchase is complete, and FreshLearn emails your login straight away. If it hasn’t arrived within an hour, check your spam folder, then email us and we’ll send it again.

You have access for at least 12 months from the day you buy. That promise holds even if we change or close the course (see section 9). You can watch the lessons as many times as you like. You can download the workbook and the field guides as PDF files for your own personal use, and you keep them after your online access ends.

You need an internet connection, a current web browser on a computer, tablet or phone, and a PDF reader for the downloads.

5. Refunds

If you change your mind. The course is a digital product and you get access straight away, so we don’t offer refunds just because you change your mind. At checkout you’ll be asked to agree to start right away and to acknowledge that, where the law gives you a right to cancel digital content, you lose that right once access begins. We’ll email you a confirmation.

If the course isn’t working for you. Within 30 days of buying, you can email Amanda at amanda@amandagore.com for any reason, including that the course isn’t what you hoped. She reads every request herself, talks with you, and may offer a refund. This is a goodwill offer, and we decide each request fairly on its own facts.

If something is wrong with the course. If the course is faulty or not as described, you have rights that don’t depend on the 30 days or on our goodwill. See section 6.

If we refund you, your access ends.

6. If something goes wrong

If a lesson won’t play, a lesson or file is missing, you lose access, or the course isn’t as described, email us. We’ll reply within three business days and fix it: we’ll repair the problem, replace what is missing or restore your access. If we can’t put it right within a reasonable time, you’re entitled to a price reduction or a refund, as the law provides.

Problems with your own device or internet connection aren’t a fault in the course, but we’re happy to help you sort them out. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the law.

7. Your results

The course provides educational tools and exercises intended to help you develop your communication skills. Outcomes depend on your circumstances and how you apply the material, and we do not guarantee a particular result. The course is general learning, not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice.

8. Using the course

The course belongs to Amanda Gore and The Joy Project LLC. You get a personal licence to use it yourself. The licence is not transferable.

You are welcome to use what you learn at work, with your team and in your life. What needs our permission is passing the course itself on: sharing your login, copying, recording, posting, selling or licensing any lesson, workbook or field guide, giving the field guides or workbook to other people, or using our videos or materials to train others. You may print the workbook and field guides for your own use. To use anything in another way, ask first at amanda@amandagore.com.

9. Keeping the course fair for everyone

We may act on serious misconduct, which means sharing your login or letting others use your account, copying or redistributing the course, harassment, threats or abuse toward us or other learners, or another serious breach of these terms.

Where it is reasonable, we’ll first contact you, say what the problem is and give you a chance to put it right. While we look into a concern, we may pause your access for a short time. For serious misconduct we may end your access straight away, and we’ll tell you why. If we end your access for serious misconduct, we don’t refund the price. If you think we’ve made a mistake, email us. We’ll review it within five business days and restore your access if we got it wrong.

10. Changes to the course and these terms

We may update and improve the course over time. We won’t materially reduce what you bought, or the access period in section 4, without giving you a fair remedy, which can be a refund of the unused part of your access. If we ever stop offering the course, we’ll give you at least 90 days’ notice, and you keep your minimum 12 months of access. If we can’t provide that, we’ll give you another way to reach the course or refund the unused part.

We keep a dated copy of the course page and these terms as they were on the day you bought. That version applies to your purchase, and later changes to these terms don’t reduce what you bought.

12. Contact, complaints and the law

Email amanda@amandagore.com with any question or complaint, or write to The Joy Project LLC, PO Box 820024, Dallas, TX 75382, USA. We’ll reply within three business days and put things right where we can. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. That doesn’t remove any consumer protection that applies where you live, and nothing here excludes any right that can’t lawfully be excluded.
