How Do We Love Ourselves

Mindset & Self-Love

From Amanda's very early writing (1990s to early 2000s), shared as it was originally written.

How do we love ourselves? Matty 4 years old

I am so pleased that you enjoyed my grandson's quote.....and his name is Matthew Hunter...........feel free to use his last name or not........( I guess it's true.......out of the mouth of babes........!)   His name is not so important as his message is.........and in this crazy old world of ours.......so many people don't love themselves.......and if you don't love yourself........how can you love any one else?

Dear Amanda,

I just finished reading your monthly article........it was inspiring ! ........It reminded me of that old song........What the world needs now is love sweet love.......

and that's what I got out of your message.........we need to love ourselves.........to love others.....

My 4 yo grandson said to me last week......."Nina you have to love yourself first..." and I responded, "that's right Matty" and he thought for a second.....had a deep look on his sweet face, and then he asked, "Nina , how do you love yourself ?"

Thank you for starting my day out on a positive note........

I always enjoy your monthly articles.....

Sincerely,

Nancy Hunte
